Congratulations!
This online community is for high school seniors who have been accepted for admission to Tulane University. This is an exciting time for you and we’re sure you have a lot of questions about what it’s like to attend Tulane and live in New Orleans. We created this new online community to give you a snapshot. We hope you’ll find it helpful. To create your own blog, log in and click on "my content." You’ll find the blog tool there. Please join in, look at the videos and download some music. New
Orleans is the only place on the planet that could have
produced native son Kermit Ruffins. Whether he’s
blowing trumpet on a Louis Armstrong classic or one of
his own hot numbers, Ruffins embraces the tune with the
true spirit of the city. Ruffins’ music, like New
Orleans itself, swings hard with a big heart as it remembers
tradition and the importance of good-timin’ fun.
Ruffins is a modern hipster in possession of an old soul.

Tulane
student-athletes completed the framing for a three-bedroom,
1,100 square-foot home for the lower ninth ward, all
in front of the New Orleans Arena as the NCAA hosted
games for the 2007 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship
Tournament.
